Every other month or so, we host an Expedition Info Night on zoom. The latest one is available here. If you are interested in attending live, you can see the dates available by clicking on the button!
The Maasai Mara is the #1 safari destination in the world, and our expeditions are unlike anything you have imagined. Your journey will be led by Maasai Warriors, who are also trained safari guides and cultural ambassadors.
You will create incredible connections with families
When you go to our communities to serve, you will be greeted like an old friend. Because we return several times a year, our relationships are deep with the families we work with.
As a team, you decide what projects you want to work on, based on what our families are needing next. You might build a garden, or help a family with a chicken business.
You might join a building project, and have the opportunity to help build one of our community training centers, goat pens for breeding, or chicken coops to create business opportunities and jobs for locals.
Whatever you choose to do, your heart will be wide open, and you will see humanity in a new way.
Experience the beauty of the Maasai Tribe
The Maasai are the indigenous tribe to Kenya, and one of the only tribes to retain their daily traditions and culture. You will be with Maasai guides on your entire expedition, and they will bring you into their lives and families.
You will visit a Maasai village, where you will be greeted by the warriors and women and invited in to see how they live and work. See if you can beat them in a jumping competition!
The Maasai are known for their traditional cow dung and mud huts, drinking cow’s blood, dressing in the tradition shuka, and their incredible jumping skills.
They are one of the most famous tribes in all of Africa.
The Maasai Mara is the #1 safari destination in the world
Kenya is known for it’s beautiful and diverse landscape and wildlife. On your safari, you will experience incredible animals, and have the opportunity to look for The Big 5: Elephants, Lions, Cape Buffalo, Leopards, and Rhinos
Bring your cameras and make sure they are charged, because there are split-second moments that you will want to capture. Our guides are award-winning photographers themselves, and will get you up close and personal with the animals.
You will have the opportunity to go on two game drives, maximizing your chances to see the beauty of the savannah.
