WALK TO WATER 2021

Jambo!

You are here, because you want to help with our Walk to Water Fundraiser!

On average, women and girls in developing countries walk 6 kilometers (approximately 3.5 miles) a day, carrying 20 liters (approximately 42 pounds/20 kgs) of water. In some areas, it is common for this journey to take more than 15 hours a week.

We have each committed to walk 100 miles by November 4, 2021 to raise awareness of this issue, and to bring water closer to 100 women in Kenya.

This fundraiser will provide 100 women with 1000 liter water storage tanks that they can use to capture water when it rains. These women live on the Maasai Mara, where water is scarce.

So far in 2021, we have provided 100 of these tanks in this area, so this fundraiser will hopefully double that impact! Imagine, 200,000 liters of rainwater captures will be possible, where there was none.

Will you help? Donate any amount and 100% of it will go to purchase and deliver these water tanks. We have a team in Kenya ready to help!

Asante sana!
