Amy Roberds: Director of Education

Amy Roberds is a seasoned junior high teacher of 27 years. Her career in Family and Consumer Sciences education began with teaching Food and Nutrition courses as well as Life Skills. She transitioned to teaching Computer Science and Digital Literacy courses seven years ago. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a Masters Degree in Technology and Education. She is also ELL and SIOP certified.

In addition to her classroom teaching, Amy has served as a grade level team lead, department head, and lead of various building and district committees. She has been very active in her local teachers association as a building rep, executive board member and Vice President. She has represented her local and state associations at the NEA Representative Assembly several times. Amy was also part of the Utah Middle Level Association Executive Board for many years.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, the sunshine, baking, spending time with family and friends and planning her next trip to Kenya.
