100 Humanitarians

She Leads. She Grows. She Transforms.

When women gain access to resources, they don't just survive. They build food systems, bring clean water home, keep children in school, and lift entire communities out of poverty.

    Be Part of Her Story

100 Humanitarians International empowers women across Kenya through four programs: sustainable food (Garden Towers, chickens, goats), clean water tanks, education and literacy, and health through HopeKits and HopeSaCs. When women are empowered, entire communities thrive.

    Why Women Are the Key

In rural Kenya, women are the backbone of every family. They grow the food, fetch the water, care for the children, and hold communities together. When a woman gains access to a garden tower, a water tank, or an education, the impact ripples outward to everyone around her.

That's why every program at 100 Humanitarians is designed with women at the center. Not because they need saving, but because they are already doing the work. They just need the tools.

Your partnership gives women those tools and the training to use them. The results speak for themselves: healthier families, children staying in school, and communities building futures on their own terms.

    Women Across the Four Pillars

    Sustainable Food

    Sustainable Food

Women grow food using Garden Towers, raise chickens for eggs and income, and keep goats that provide milk and financial security for their families.

    • • $25 Garden Tower feeds a family of 5
    • • $50 starts a chicken business
    • • $100 launches a goat business
    Clean Water

    Clean Water

A $150 water tank saves women 5–10 hours every week previously spent walking to collect water. That time goes back to farming, learning, and caring for their children.

    • • 5–10 hours/week saved
    • • $150 per 1,000-liter water tank
    • • Rainwater captured from her own roof
    Education

    Education

Literacy programs help mothers support their children's learning. School fees keep girls in school through graduation, breaking the cycle of poverty across generations.

    • • $20 funds a literacy program
    • • $80/term primary school
    • • $250/term high school
    Health & Dignity

    Health & Dignity

    • • $15 HopeKit lasts 2–3 years
    • • $30 HopeSaC thermal cooker

    Stories of Transformation

    Jecolia

    Jecolia

Jecolia struggled to afford food that didn't make her sick. A single Garden Tower changed everything. She planted kales, spinach, and tomatoes, healed her stomach with fresh food, and started selling surplus. Today she runs a thriving tree nursery and dreams of educating children in her community.

"Before, even the vegetables I ate made me sick. Now, my garden tower gives me health, income, and I have started a tree nursery."
    Evelyne

    Evelyne

When we met Evelyne, she was a young mother with no place to call her own. She joined the Garden Tower program, helped build towers across her community, learned soap-making at the Ebenezer Resource Center, and today feeds dozens of families while mentoring other women.

"I had nothing. Now I feed families and teach other women to do the same."
    Sarah Nafula

    Sarah Nafula

Sarah Nafula turned a single Garden Tower into a small enterprise. She grows vegetables for her family, sells the surplus at the local market, and has become a community leader who trains other women to grow their own food security.

"The garden tower gave me food, then income, then a future I never thought was possible."

    From Survival to Self-Reliance

Skills Development Centers across southern Kenya train 50 to 200 people every year. Women learn sewing, business management, and income-generating skills that create independence, not dependence.

HopeKits are sewn locally by Kenyan seamstresses, turning a health program into an economic engine. Every kit sold creates jobs, builds skills, and keeps money circulating in the community.

    This isn't aid. It's opportunity.

Empower a Woman. Transform a Community.

Your support creates lasting change across food, water, education, and health. Every dollar is an investment in a woman who will multiply its impact for generations.
