$25 builds a Garden Tower. Families grow fresh vegetables, feed their children, and turn the surplus into steady income.
We're 100 Humanitarians International. Eleven years in Kenya, working alongside Maasai communities on food, water, education, and dignity. Look around — we'd love for you to know us.
Eleven Years · One Country · Twelve Communities

Most people come to Kenya expecting to help.
They arrive with full hearts and packed suitcases, ready to give. Then something they didn't plan for happens — a child takes their hand, a grandmother shares a meal, a Maasai elder shares a story by the fire — and the script flips.
They came to change a place. The place changes them.
This is not voluntourism. This is the country that quietly hands you back the parts of yourself you forgot you were missing.

Names you'll remember for the rest of your life.

The clarity that comes from work that actually matters.

A new lens you'll never be able to set down.

A second home with a door that stays open.

"I came to build a garden tower. I left rebuilt."
— [Returning Creator, Expedition 2025]
Every creator who has walked this land says some version of the same sentence. We've stopped being surprised by it. We've started building the trip around it.
Unscripted reflections from creators, founders, and first-timers — the morning after the moment that changed everything.

Kenya doesn't need a hero. It offers you a home.
That's the part of the story we wanted you to know first.
Eleven years on the same ground, with the same families. We measure our work in relationships kept, harvests gathered, and girls still in school — not just dollars raised.
Eleven years in the same communities, with leaders we know by name.
Every program — Garden Towers, water, HopeKits — started with a community ask.
Nearly 28,000 towers built. 1,500+ water projects. 100,000+ women reached. The receipts exist.
Kenyan directors run the day-to-day. We support, we don't substitute.
Four programs, one integrated model — each one a chapter your audience will actually want to follow.

$25 builds a Garden Tower. Families grow fresh vegetables, feed their children, and turn the surplus into steady income.

Rainwater catchment systems, protected springs, and community boreholes — every drop a story of dignity restored.

From school fees and uniforms to literacy programs and women's skills centers — education that lifts whole families forward.

HopeKits and women's empowerment — practical care that protects health, restores dignity, and keeps girls in school.

We started with one Garden Tower in a single Maasai village. Today our work touches communities across Kenya — from the Mara to Bomet to the Western highlands — woven together by the same people, the same relationships, and the same long view.
Children we met as toddlers are finishing secondary school. Mothers who learned to grow vegetables on a tower now teach their neighbors. The transformation is slow, real, and ours together.
Service. Culture. Safari.
Ten days, six experiences, one country that doesn't let you leave the same. A few times a year we invite small groups to walk alongside the work in person.

Land in Nairobi, breathe in the highlands, and step into your first Maasai welcome. The trip starts with a story, not a schedule.
Build Garden Towers, dig at a water site, distribute HopeKits. Hands in the soil, cameras in the moment.
Shared meals, the Wisdom Tree, classroom visits, the kind of conversations that don't fit in a caption.
The Maasai Mara at golden hour, journaling under acacia trees, and the slow ride home as a different person.
One trip. Three lifetimes of story.
If expeditions are something you'd like to learn about, we're happy to share more in person at the summit.
A small sampling of moments and characters this work keeps producing. We share them so you can get a feel for the texture of the place — not as a brief.
