Supported DAF Giving Technology
We accept DAF grants through Every.org, which connects to most major DAF providers so you can recommend a grant without leaving the page. You can also log in to your sponsor's portal (Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, DAFgiving360, or your community foundation), search for "100 Humanitarians International" or EIN 82-1048388, and submit a grant. If you would like your grant directed to a specific program, add it to the grant note.
What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?
A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving account held at a sponsoring organization such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or a community foundation. You put money, stock, or other assets into the fund, take a tax deduction when you contribute, and then recommend grants to the charities you care about over time.
Why do donors choose to give through a DAF?
Donors use DAFs to take an immediate tax deduction, give appreciated stock without paying capital gains tax, let their charitable dollars grow tax-free, and keep all of their giving and receipts in one place. Grants can be recommended anytime, including at year-end.
How does a DAF gift help 100 Humanitarians International?
DAF grants are often larger and more consistent than one-time gifts, which lets our Kenyan Community Directors plan ahead: Garden Towers, rainwater tanks, school fees, and HopeKits for the families they walk alongside. 100% of your gift moves our mission forward.
What information do I need to recommend a DAF grant?
